Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States
Chattanooga is the perfect place for this, and we already have so many built-in resources, such as the riverwalk, the battlefield, and Sterchi farms. We have so many local park areas and trail systems, it's time that we get them into more use. People want to build community and be outside. In this run club, we will focus on being the bridge between both. Right now is the perfect time to build community and get outside in our beautiful city.

Potential pitfalls could be getting people to join because people can often be scared to go to something new where they dont know what to expect so to improve this problem we will set clear expectations of what the club intels. Safety is another concern because with the variation of places and trails it is easy for somebody to fall or get injured. While not preventable we can try to ensure that there are clear routes and we are prepared with supplies such as a first aid kit and we know the protocols in an emergency. Another potential pitfall could be keeping the club consistent and building a team of volunteers, getting sponsors, and preventing burnout because people could be sparked at first to do it, but you could only get so many people involved and those people could get burnt out from doing too much. To try to prevent this we would have to be intentional about timing and do what works best for the people.
