Restoring Native Habitat in the Tennessee River Gorge

The Tennessee River Gorge is a 27-mile winding river canyon with over 24,000 acres of conserved land! The Tennessee River Gorge Trust (TRGT) is working to protect additional lands in the gorge while also focusing on improving already protected lands. Within the already protected lands are degraded habitats that are in need of active restoration to maintain ecosystem function, resiliency, and provide habitat for our most imperiled wildlife species. TRGT has selected 5 degraded sites to begin long-term restoration efforts.
