What if everyone felt safe on our streets? We believe that’s possible! But getting there starts with understanding the problems we face today. By raising awareness of where and how people are being hurt on our streets, we can begin working together to fix them. One challenge today is that information about pedestrian crashes can be confusing or incomplete. Early reports often change as investigations continue, and details can spread quickly online before the facts are fully known. When that happens, it can be hard for the community to understand what really occurred or how to respond.
